Safety & Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is a critical part of our operations, responsible for overseeing yard safety, managing equipment maintenance and inspections, and supporting overall safety compliance across residential construction and landscape job sites. The Safety & Operations Coordinator will also assist with vehicle and equipment documentation, support emergency preparedness, and help with light purchasing duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

Site and Yard Safety Oversight

  • Perform regular inspections of the yard, storage areas, and construction job sites to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

  • Monitor site conditions and worker activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.

Equipment & Vehicle Management

  • Conduct or verify pre-use equipment inspections to ensure operational safety.

  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules with mechanics or vendors for trucks, trailers, and jobsite equipment.

  • Maintain up-to-date vehicle registrations, insurance cards, and inspection stickers.

  • Ensure first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety supplies are stocked and available in all company vehicles and equipment.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Keep detailed records of inspections, safety checklists, repair logs, and compliance documents.

  • Track and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations; follow up on corrective actions.

  • Maintain safety-related signage, labels, and documentation at all facilities.

Training & Communication

  • Assist in training field teams on safe equipment use, site practices, and emergency procedures.

  • Support toolbox talks and safety meetings alongside project managers or foremen.

  • Promote a culture of accountability and safety awareness among field staff.

Office & Purchasing Support

  • Assist with ordering and tracking safety equipment, tools, and site supplies.

  • Support inventory control of PPE and maintenance items.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field (preferred, not required).

  • 3+ years of experience in a construction safety, inspection or field-based safety role.

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Familiarity with DOT compliance, vehicle registration, and inspection protocols.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to construction sites.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Effective communicator who is comfortable working with field crews, vendors, and office staff.

  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments and visiting multiple job sites as needed.

  • Hardworking, self-motivated, team oriented and able to perform independently without direct supervision.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily field-based with regular travel between job sites and our central yard.

  • Some office work required for documentation and purchasing.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

  • May involve working irregular hours or weekends to conduct inspections or respond to emergencies.

IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join our firm for either full or part-time. This role will be responsible for handling basic technology issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, managing IT infrastructure, and assisting with light administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, presentation setup, printer troubleshooting, and procurement of IT equipment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support for basic technology issues, including troubleshooting computers, network connections, and peripherals.

  • Manage Microsoft Office programs and assist staff with technical challenges related to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Set up and maintain presentation systems, including connecting laptops to conference room TV screens and ensuring smooth operation for meetings.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer, scanner, and office equipment issues.

  • Order and track IT-related equipment, software, and office supplies as needed.

  • Ensure company data is backed up and secure, implementing IT best practices for cybersecurity.

  • Maintain basic IT documentation, including equipment inventory, software licenses, and system configurations.

  • Assist in setting up new employee workstations, including computers, monitors, and software installations.

  • Collaborate with external IT consultant when necessary for more complex issues or upgrades.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Familiarity with setting up conference room technology and presentations.

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining office printers and other peripherals.

  • Ability to source, order, and track IT equipment and software licenses.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, routers, VPNs).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud storage solutions (OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox).

  • Experience with basic cybersecurity practices and IT security measures.

  • Familiarity with remote access and troubleshooting tools.

  • Interest or experience in supporting creative teams in an architecture or design-related field.

Experienced Landscape Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a landscape maintenance team to ensure high-quality work and client satisfaction.

• Plan, organize, and implement daily and weekly schedules for maintenance crews, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.

• Assign tasks and locations to team members, ensuring proper use of skills and resources.

• Manage required daily paperwork for multiple jobsites.

• Perform hands-on landscape maintenance tasks, including but not limited to mowing, pruning, weeding, mulching, planting, and irrigation system maintenance.

• Inspect properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure work meets company quality standards.

• Train, mentor, and oversee team members in proper landscape maintenance techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use.

• Communicate effectively with clients and address any concerns or special requests.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance operations.

• Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

• Provide regular updates to management on team performance, schedules, and project statuses.


Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in high-end landscape maintenance

• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant materials, proper horticultural installation, and construction practices.

• Familiar with operation of tools and construction equipment.

• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills to create and maintain schedules and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills to interact with team members, management, and clients, and design/trade professionals

• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift equipment or materials as required.

• Hardworking, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to perform independently without direct supervision.
